Examination Committee
The Examination Committee is an apex body headed by the Controller of Examinations (CE) with three sections: Examination, Record Maintenance, and Administration. It handles exam preparation, administration, and evaluation for undergraduate courses in both offline and online modes.
The committee conducts Internal Assessment and External Assessment Examination related work as per WBUHS notifications and ordinance.
Objectives
- Conduct Internal Assessment and External Assessment examinations as per WBUHS notifications
- Ensure fair, transparent, and timely conduct of all examinations
- Maintain examination records and results securely
- Prevent malpractice and uphold examination integrity
- Coordinate with WBUHS for university examinations and result declaration
Functions of Examination Committee
- Conduct internal, external, and practical examinations
- Prepare and distribute examination timetables
- Allocate examination halls and seat arrangements
- Ensure timely question paper preparation and security
- Collect answer scripts and supporting documents
- Arrange valuation and moderation processes
- Publish results and conduct supplementary examinations
- Address student and staff examination-related grievances
